did not know who to approach because he knew that whoever heard the conversation, the parents of Saidai, would be upset about the wedding. One heart said, "Why are you worried since you were quiet, maybe she will not let the wedding happen?" He smiled, his heart reassuring him of that.
Arabian Nights was a party for me, Junaina and Jafar were very nice, everyone was asking Salma questions, Annah was not ashamed to tell lies, Hajiya was not happy with her, she was not happy with what Annah did, seeing that Mujahid did not approach her with the conversation, she did not say anything, you know, I don't know about Salma's trip to Kano.
****
After Two Days.
Since the day Salim had taken Salma to the house, he had not returned to avoid being blamed. But when he saw her continuing with the wedding preparations, he was surprised. He made a plan and called his mommy and said he would collect the car keys from Salma. She had not brought anything with her, saying that Salma was from Kano.
Dadi felt so happy that he started planning to get her a passport so he could run away with her to Ghana.
The fear of God gripped Annah after the festivities were over, the only thing left to do was the wedding, which was tomorrow. She was always asked about Salma and she said the healer hadn't finished mixing the medicine. Hajiya suddenly woke up and saw Annah lying. Mujahid's lack of concern made her think of their relationship. In the evening, Annah went out to where Mujahid was, he was lying in front of her, she was afraid of the disrespect he would show her. She looked out the window and saw them sitting with their friends, chatting with him as if nothing had happened. She said, “Mujahid, come out and let's talk.”
He shook his head, filled with frustration at the woman he was looking for, and came out, giving her a stern look.
Like a hypocrite, she bowed her head and said, “It's about Salma, I didn't see her, I said I sent her here so she wouldn't spoil my party, and now I see that the girl is gone, that's why I told her.”
He was staring at her, not understanding where she was going, "Where did she go, is she not home?" He asked her questions.
She said, “I don't know, you go find her.”
He widened his eyes in shock and said, “Where is Annah?”
She hesitated further and said, "I don't know," not waiting for her to rush home and run away, “I don't know if the old woman can do it.”
Thank God Mujahid is talking about it, he didn't go back to the apartment, he just ran to his car, opened it, got in, turned the ignition key and left the house.
Salma didn't wake up until the next morning, when she heard someone thumping on the floor. She opened her eyes, a terrible headache was bothering her. She stood up straight, protecting the room. Unable to recognize the room, she pressed her hands against the wall and went out onto the balcony. She must have been scared, she didn't recognize anything in the house. She heard a terrible noise and fell to the ground, falling asleep.
She stayed in the room for about 4 hours and then woke up. She wanted to remember something but couldn't. She started trying to think about where she was going and fell asleep.
The next day she woke up, she quickly went back to the toilet, turned on the water and made herself vomit, when she vomited a lot and came back to her senses, things came back to her, Salim started to explain to her, what a terrible medicine that had made her sick from her headache, she did not feel any better until the medicine was over, he brought her home, her soul was upset and she stood up and waited for someone to come and pick her up, she quickly hugged the wall, there was a hungry woman in front of her, she hurriedly came out the door of the room but she heard the door closed, she stood up and crawled to the kitchen, there was nothing to eat, she could only make cold tea and crawled to the room.
Then she went to look for her phone and remembered that she had left it in the car. She sighed and remembered Mujahid's betrayal. She didn't cry when he called her. She looked at his watch on her wrist and saw that it was five in the evening. She got up and went to the toilet, she quickly sprayed water to perform ablution, put on her night wear and hijab to make up for the prayers she had missed. After she woke up, a bad dream took her away.
Salim parked in the driveway and came out holding a plate of food for her. He slowly unlocked the door and entered. He saw her lying in the room, wrapped in her hijab. He smiled and said that she had tried to fight the medicine.
Her name called out to her and she slowly opened her eyes and looked at him. She could only speak, but there was no strength left in Tattare.
"My love, you're awake," he said, caressing her face. His voice was soft and he said, “Why, why are you bringing me here?”
He smiled and sat down, their faces facing each other, he said, “Salma, I love you so much, I can't bear to see you marry a mujahid, I love you so much.”
